Dudhiya

At Maha Mangoes, we try to give Dudhia to the customer about

2 days before it is fully ripe. When Dudhia is fully ripe, it becomes very delicate  and vulnerable to tearing. The mango is to be softened by hand and eaten immediatety. the  consumer should ensure that the Dudhia is slightly yellow and fragrant before softening it.

We have procured this tree from a village called  Palasapalle.

Dudhia  is very popular in the village and not found elsewhere.

Today we have grafted the tree so we have twenty plus trees of this variety.

6-8 days to ripen andafter being fully ripe has a shelf life of 3-4 days.

When raw we can stack up to 5 rows of raw fruit.

When half ripe, we can stack upto 2-3 rows (can be sold at this stage).
